(she/her)
My goal is to help people better understand who they are in the context of their communities and the stories they tell. I believe that as people understand their stories, they begin to see patterns in their lives and make the changes they need. My hope is to walk with clients as they understand how they react to their thoughts and emotions and find new ways to walk through their daily lives. I have experience helping clients navigate chronic illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, family stress, and behavior change. I also enjoy exploring the relationship between physical health, mental health, and overall well-being. I have experience working with diverse groups, and I have specialized training in spirituality, women's issues, and race. I explore these issues and other aspects of identity through a social justice lens. I use Cognitive-Behavioral, Social Constructivist, EMDR therapy, and Humanist approaches. My approach is also informed by Dialectal Behavioral Therapy. It is my hope that we can work together to meet your goals. I would love to talk with you more about the care you are looking for and how I can support you. |
