Gregory Simonson, PhD, LP obtained his doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Minnesota and has been licensed since 2019. He integrates his school psychological background into his clinical practice. Dr. Simonson is experienced in psychological evaluation across the lifespan (early childhood, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults) for a range of presenting questions. He has specific expertise and interest in assessment related to autism (including expertise on autism presentation in individuals socialized as girls or women), learning, attention, memory, mood/personality concerns, OCD, and trauma. He practices from a trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and culturally-responsive framework to ensure empathetic, person-centered care. Dr. Simonson also has extensive experience providing family and individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults, with an emphasis on working with autistic individuals. He utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a strengths-based, solution-focused framework.
