Taqwa Dardery, MSW
Practicing under supervision of Kelsey McCarston MSW, LICSW
I am Taqwa Dardery, a dedicated pre-licensed therapist with a passion for supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from BIPOC communities. My educational journey has equipped me with valuable skills and insights, as I hold a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in inclusivity and respect for each individual's unique journey. As a practitioner, I believe in the power of person-centered therapy, where I strive to meet you exactly where you are in your life's path. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. I have a special interest in Islamic psychotherapy and aim to incorporate these principles into our work if it aligns with your beliefs and preferences. This holistic approach allows us to address your mental health and well-being while respecting your cultural and spiritual identity. I look forward to joining you on your therapeutic journey, helping you find the support and guidance you need to achieve personal growth and healing. |
