If you have made it this far, then you are probably thinking about creating a change in your life. And change is difficult, but it has the power to heal many generations. It takes a lot of courage and strength to reach out and accept help. In therapy, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgemental space for you to be your authentic self. Talking about your insecurities and your deepest thoughts and feelings can feel scary and risky, but it's not impossible. As your therapist, I will help you process complex emotions and experiences using a compassionate, kind, and gentle approach. Growing up in an immigrant family, I understand the impact of cultural and familial expectations and the intimate process of identity development. My bicultural experiences have helped me better understand and connect with my clients from diverse backgrounds. As a person of color and an Asian American therapist, I'm committed to humanizing mental health care. I understand each client is a unique individual with a unique story to share. Our stories help us deepen our understanding of our identities and our view of self and others. Sharing your story is the start of your healing journey. Your story matters. Your voice matters.
